1. Law on Personal Data Protection

Pursuant to the provisions of the Law on Personal Data Protection ("Official Gazette of RS", No. 87/2018), and in connection with the collection of personal data when admitting candidates for enrolment in undergraduate, master's and doctoral studies, when enrolling in the academic year of study, during the study and completion of studies at the UNIVERSITY OF SINIDUNUM (hereinafter: "University"), the University as the controller, submits the following notice on the processing of personal data:

2. Purpose of data collection and processing

The purpose of collecting and processing data on which the higher education institution keeps records is determined by the controller. Data are collected and processed for the following purposes: applications for the competition for enrolment at the University, concluding a study contract, opening an e-mail address with the University domain through which the student communicates with University employees (singimail), communication between candidates / students and employees at the University, exam registration, implementation of exam deadlines, exercising the right to enrol in the year of study, implementation of procedures for application and defence of final thesis, i.e. doctoral dissertation, statistical processing and data analysis, monitoring and improving the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of higher education, improving educational level students in the process of education, exercising the right to issue a public document as well as for exercising other rights and obligations arising from the provisions of the Law on Higher Education and bylaws governing higher education.

The collection of personal data processed by the University is recorded in the University database.

3. Data in student records

To determine the student's identity, the following data are collected: name, surname, name of one parent, gender, unique personal identification number, passport number and issuer for foreign citizens, date of birth, place of birth, state, municipality and permanent residence address, residential address during studies, nationality in accordance with the law, marital status, citizenship, address, contact telephone number, e-mail address, photo and other data in accordance with the Law on Higher Education.

To determine the educational status of a student, we collect data on previously completed education, language in which primary and secondary education was acquired, enrolled study program, type of study, year of study and year of first enrolment in the study program, participation in international mobility programs, year of study program completion. , the language in which the study program is conducted, data on achieved ECTS credits, data on awards and commendations won during the study, issued public documents, the day of concluding the study contract. 

To determine the social status of a student, we collect data on the method of financing studies, the manner of subsistence during studies, residential address during studies, type of accommodation during studies, student status during studies, dependents, education of both parents, employment status of parents (dependents) and occupation parent or breadwinner.

To determine the health status of students, we collect data on the need to provide additional support when performing daily activities at the higher education institution.

An e-mail address is provided for communication between candidates / students and employees of the University. 

To open to the student the e-mail address with the domain of the University through which the student communicates with the employees of the University (single email), we collect data which determine the identity of the student.

4. The persons who use the data

Personal data is processed exclusively by employees of the Student Service, Accounting Department, Legal Affairs Department and employees of the computer centre.

5. Legal basis for data collection and processing

The legal basis for the collection and processing of personal data is the written consent of the person to whom the data relates, or consent given electronically when accepting the terms of use of University applications.

6. Revocation of consent for data processing and legal consequences of revocation

Any person whose personal data is processed by the University has the right to revoke the previously given consent for processing in accordance with the Law on Personal Data Protection.

7. The right to access, correct, amend or delete data

Any person whose personal data is processed by the University has the right to request from the controller access, correction, supplementation or deletion of his personal data, the right to restrict processing as well as the right to data portability in accordance with the Law on Personal Data Protection.

8. Rights pertaining to the person in case of unauthorized processing

In case of unauthorized data processing, the person has all the rights from the Law on Personal Data Protection, the implementation of which is supervised by the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection.
